UBHS Senior High Holds Another Successful Entrepreneurship Day

We made business our business; that’s how UBHS students prepared during Entrepreneurship Day. November 22, 2023, marked a significant day for aspiring UBHS Senior High School entrepreneurs as it celebrated Entrepreneurship Day. The day was to showcase the spirit of entrepreneurship and recognize the efforts of UBHS Senior High School students, who have strived, created, and innovated products and services to build future successful businesses. The theme for this year’s Entrepreneurship Day is “Exploring the boundless horizon of imagination and innovation.”

The theme for this year’s Entrepreneurship Day highlights the importance of imagination and innovation in driving entrepreneurial success. It encourages young entrepreneurs of UBHS Senior High School to think beyond the conventional and explore new ideas and opportunities that can disrupt traditional business models. The theme also emphasizes the need for young entrepreneurs to be imaginative and innovative in their approach to problem-solving, which can lead to breakthrough solutions that can create significant value for their customers and stakeholders.

On Entrep Day, students were inspired to compose new jingles and create video advertisements featuring student performers. The mascots were fun and energetic characters who embodied the spirit of entrepreneurship. The jingles were catchy and stuck in your head long after the video was over, reminding one of the excitement and potential of entrepreneurship

The celebration of Entrepreneurship Day provided various events and activities that were organized by dedicated UBHS Senior High School teachers. These events aimed to inspire and educate aspiring young entrepreneurs about the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in entrepreneurship. Some of the events included a seminar on financial planning, product, and service selling/showcasing, room-to-room promotion, brainstorming sessions, logo and slogan making, and a lot more.

This annual activity for UBHS Senior High School grade 11 students represents and encourages the enthusiasm that would enrich their creative thinking. It also illustrated the students’ value of cooperation, coordination, and collaboration as they work together as business partners. Such collaboration led to new ideas, new products, and services which created value for all stakeholders.
